I do know they are committed to reducing emissions and have seen statistics tracking data and heard a bit about the ways they plan to continue reducing emissions.

Allianz is part of the Net Zero Asset Owner Alliance and the 2030 Climate League. As part of our commitment, Allianz is removing thermal coal from proprietary investment and underwriting portfolios.

Green initiatives in the workplace, globally a positive attitude. Some areas still a work in progress.

It is also an important aspect for us, especially with climate change.

Recycling and reusing materials. As of January 1, 2025, Allianz will only insure and invest in those oil and gas companies which have committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 in alignment with science-based 1.5°C pathways, across all three greenhouse gas emission scopes2. Additionally, the companies should ideally align their operations and disclosures with the Climate Action 100+ Net-Zero Company Benchmark requirements.
