As Logistics Support for Allyn International, you will be involved in managing logistics activities in a manner that meets client and business requirements.
You will liaise with multiple parties of the International supply chain (Suppliers, Clients, Carriers) to effectively collect, book and communicate all necessary information of upcoming and ongoing shipments, projects and services. You will also provide logistics support to other team members, update and maintain Allyn International's TMS (Transport Management System) and participate in virtual meetings with both clients and other Allyn employees.
This role will provide exposure to various modes of transport, Airfreight, Ocean Freight, Road Freight, Courier and Rail, both inbound and outbound from various countries. Freight profiles ranging from small parcels to high value, multiple container load, out of gauge and security-sensitive cargo.
Successful Volunteers will be provided with all equipment and full access to Allyn Internationals online training portal. This training portal is full of industry knowledge, courses and resources.
This unpaid work experience is 100% remote with semi-flexible start and finish times. Preference is a minimum of 5 hrs a day, Monday to Friday for 3 months (Semi-Flexible)
