Please describe the interview process and assessments.
Very intense 3 round interview process. It was very difficult but rewarding.
Trainee, Sydney - 11 Sep 2024
The first stage is application with submission of resume, which is followed by an online psychometric testing. Then, there is an individual phone interview. The final stage is an interview loop, where I had two interviews back-to-back with a simple assessment on Excel skills. This is to ensure I was assessed by different perspectives and allowed me to demonstrate my thinking / problem solving skills.

Interview process was positive. Nice people who gave their time to also tell me about their job and time. The emphasis on experience and diverse experience was appreciated and was why I wanted to work here. Getting results from interviews back took a long time.

Amazon's interview questions are based on their Leadership Principles (LPs), so I would be asked to "describe a time" where I was able to demonstrate the company's LPs.

Study the Leadership Principles and be prepared to based your answers on these values. Make sure your examples of previous work or extracurricular experiences align with these principles. Amazon is also very data driven, so focus on the quantitative or qualitative results of your STAR response.

Go through the leadership principles and be prepared to have an example of your behaviour that demonstrates each LP (using the STAR method).
