Department: Fund Admin Services
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
Role & Key Responsibilities:
Process daily post-trade compliance for a large number of diverse domestic and global portfolios. This task is primarily a processing role with the additional need to understand how the results are derived from the underlying data and to be able to report to the relevant entities in a timely and professional manner.
The role duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure post-trade compliance reports are delivered within service level agreements
- Investigate and analyse potential post-trade compliance breaches
- Understand how post-trade compliance rules are calculated
- Communicate succinctly with clients to deliver breach notifications
- Meet periodic and ad hoc performance reporting requirements
- Understand and implement client performance reporting requirements
- Work with client and stakeholder requirements ensuring high service standards are met
- Keep up to date with and abide by Mainstream policies and procedures.
Proven Experience & Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or business; although suitably experienced candidates will be considered
- One to two years of experience as an analyst would be a plus however the role is also open to new entrants to the workforce.
- A degree of basic knowledge of the fund's management process including types of securities invested in by fund managers and the structure of investment funds will assist the applicant’s success in the role
- Strong analytical skills are required in the role with the ability to independently solve analytical and quantitative problems.
- Advanced end-user computer skills required including Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint skills with some experience with VBA a plus.
