Culture at Kearney

9.2
9.2 rating for Culture, based on 14 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
- structure and hierarchy is much flatter than other organisations. I previously worked at a large retail bank and it was extremely rare to ever speak to your boss's boss. My experience at kearney could not be more different. As mentioned previously in one of my other answer boxes, leadership at kearney actively seek and listen to junior perspective. This can be scary and daunting at times, but the buck never stops with the junior. It is always clear that leadership will stand with you and protect you if any issues arise with clients, which can happen given the delicacy of some of the work we do. - The frequency and quality of social events are tremendous and attendance from seniors to juniors is reflected. Even senior partners host office-wide functions at their home (optional) - the connection among juniors is extremely strong. There is a sense of camaraderie and unity among juniors which mimics the deep friendships I have fostered throughout school and university - we have many events to welcome family and friends, from nye fireworks on the balcony to the vivid lightshow launch

10/10 company culture. Dynamic staffing model where each project is a hand-picked team means consultants get to work with new people every project strong friday culture where all consultant colocate in the home office. Juniors often stick around for drinks and social events after work.

Kearney avoids enforcing hierarchical structures even though there are partners and senior leadership it adopts a more flat structure from an engagement and communication perspective. All opinions are valued. Teaming is very collaborative.

Great culture - one of the best places I've interned / worked at during both office and after hours. People will smile and acknowledge you no matter who you are, and we can all have fun together!

Office culture: our office culture is built on a strong sense of collaboration and open communication. We have pretty sophisticated mechanism for upward feedback (glint survey or anonymous feedback) and prizes each month for employees who showcase our values. The structure is reasonably flat (6 ranks), allowing for direct access to senior leadership and fostering an environment where teamwork is the norm rather than the exception. After hours culture: as I mentioned before, our strength as an office comes in the social cohesion, be it team dinners or casual catch-ups. Many people find lasting friendships in kearney, making our workplace feel more like a community (compared to other kearney offices around the globe).

Juniors are mostly included in senior brainstorming meetings, so flat in that regard. Good culture of friday night drinks and the occasional weekend away as juniors

While there is hierarchy, the structure is mostly flat in terms how colleagues interact. Colleagues socialise consistently and it is a big part of the culture to promote mateship.
