Your opportunity
Over the two years, you’ll rotate through four different areas within Lifeblood’s ICT division. You’ll spend 6 months in each functional group and choose from any of the following areas, spanning technical and non-technical specialties.
Choose your career path:
- Data engineering; working with the latest cloud-native data and analytic technologies, building skills to support business insights and intelligence, and creating machine learning and AI models.
- Integration; using the new integration platform Boomi, be part of the team that will support the migration work and learn more about integration and patterns
- Application Development; develop internal applications using JavaScript and associated cloud technologies, as well as the website team using Drupal, Google tagging and analytics, and other critical technologies to maintain our website – within the SAFe Agile framework
- Cloud Operations; assist our Application and Data teams in building new solutions and migrating existing solutions to the cloud. Lifeblood operates a dual cloud strategy, leveraging both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
- Business Analysis; work with customers of ICT to analyse, interpret, define, and document their requirements for ICT systems and services. Be involved in conducting market and industry research to identify opportunities, develop financial models to inform decision-making, and be involved in tender or other procurement activities.
- Testing; Gain insight into the software development lifecycle and learn about a well-structured testing framework, as well as general testing standards, processes, terminology, and the types of tests to be conducted
- Scrum Mastery; learn to coordinate Agile ceremonies, and partner with business stakeholders and various ICT areas to deliver a shared goal. Lifeblood follows Scale Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology and employs SCRUM and Kanban agile practices

- Graduated with a Bachelor of Information Technology, Computer Science, Business and Management between January 2023 to December 2023
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Well-developed communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify, assess and resolve problems
- Collaborative with an appetite to work with others to achieve a shared goal
