Please comment on your company's office space, location and facilities. And while we're at it, please tell us a little about the dress code.
Recent security zoning has meant less desks available for everyone.

As mentioned before, the head office can definitely do with a well needed reno!!! There is plenty of space in the office, desks are spacious. however, the carpets can be replaced as there is old stains on the carpets, chairs also have stains (prefer an arm rest in chairs), tables are quite old but still in good condition, however tables might be in need of a replacement as some tables are a bit bent. The office is tidy but can do with a full deep clean. Location is good and secure, with a nice oceanfront view. However, the location here does lack options of cafes/restaurants.

Perfectly adequate. Good facilities. Dress code is fairly relaxed. Standard business casual, but I get the feeling occasionally wearing something even less formal would be fine

Dress code is relaxed, business casual, with company polos an option. Facilities are good, no complaints. Location isn't the best being in Osborne, making it a 2 hour commute each day for myself.

Many sites are very modern and very enjoyable to work out. There is one that I go to that isn't great, but we will be moving in a few months to a newly built office.

We have large carpark (no parking fees), plenty of office space with standing desks, toilet and kitchen facilities on our building floor, and half a dozen meeting and board rooms. Most people abide by a smart casual dress code, although no dress code is enforced. Some people prefer to wear jeans into the office.

Facilities are inherited from the customer so we can't change much. However, there is a breakroom and air conditioning,

Franklin Street in the city on a secure floor. Kitchen available for lunch, coffee, etc. Dress code is professional but generally not strict.

Satisfactory. On the dress code - Great!

Smart casual, I work at a desk 99% of the time and am not forward facing with clients, stakeholders so my attire shouldn't be an issue.

Franklin office is very neat and tidy

The office space at my work is good because it has facilities in the basement such as bike lockers and showers so riding into work is easy and convenient. The dress code is neat work wear however this could have been communicated better at the commencement of my role.

The company's location in New Zealand makes parking and commuting difficult. For example, a 17-minute drive from a suburb close to Devonport can turn into a 40-minute drive with morning and afternoon traffic. Parking permits are not easy to obtain, which means I sometimes have to walk 10-15 minutes or more to get to my work building. The office spaces I have worked in all have air conditioning, which I appreciate. They tend to be shared with the Navy, who is a partner of Babcock. The dress code at work for most graduates would be business casual. I have seen many office workers wear a Babcock or nice-looking plain jacket over a professional looking shirt. In the warehouses, I have dressed far more casually with my clothes for home, but with a high vis vest.

Our facilities are not great, particularly in my department we have a small kitchen for coffee/tea but no breakroom, the nearest facilities for breaks are the cafe next-door or the alternative building across the way. Our building is near the major operational area of the yard so during works it is extremely loud/disruptive, often it gives me headaches because we're exposed to such loud noise for close to 8 hours a day.

Our offices are fantastic. We have three offices in SA, and I've been to all three: City, Keswick, and Osborne. The Osborne facility is quite old, but our staff are being relocated soon as we have nearly finished building a brand-new facility. We have a very modern office in Melbourne and have great facilities in WA as well. As mentioned previously, I cycle into work and our facilities are fantastic. We offer towel service to employees, secure bike lock-up, and lockers on request as well. People in the city office wear business casual clothing (chinos/pants and a collared shirt) from Monday to Thursday and neat casual on Fridays (can be a nice Tee with jeans and casual shoes for example). People at Osborne need to wear PPE if they are going to be on the workshop floor or the same as what the city employees wear if they're only going to be in the office space.

Being a brand new office and establishment our facilities have amazing views, amenities and opportunities to go out of the office within the Collingwood area.
