The role:
- Perform analysis and documentation of as-is and to-be capabilities about business processes, technology, etc.
- Assist in development and testing of new business processes, capabilities, and as appropriate their supporting technologies
- Perform application design activities (e.g. writing functional specifications), portions of technology architecture and technical design activities and portions of technology build, test and deployment
- Implement software solutions and associated process changes
- Be involved in business systems related tasks to be able to provide information about business needs and priorities
- Perform Level 2 support for the business and BAU work as required
- Quality responsibilities as specified in MAN007 Quality Management Systems Manual
To be successful:
- A degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Good written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and organisational ability
- Exposure and understanding of the life cycle of a project and methodologies (ie. Agile, Waterfall)
- Understanding of digital technologies, analytics and automation
- Experience in using relational databases (SQL, Oracle, DB2)
- Experience with reporting and Visualization and Integration tools (SSRS, PowerBI, Qlik, SSIS Informatica, Talend)
- Experience with programming languages (C#, Java, VB) and servers (AWS, Azure)
- Basic knowledge or experience in API integration
