There is a large focus on ESG and ESG risks within the company, extending to the customers we bank.

We have sustainability products that we offer to our customers but I think we need to make more of an intention of carrying out sustainable practices as employees within the bank.

The business bank is doing the most, at the moment, we are trying to reduce our scope 3 emissions. to do this, we are trying to incentivise bankers by including it into their KPI pack. We also have sustainable linked loans etc it is something that is constantly in the scope of our attention.

CBA really has a patient 0 position in this area as we can simply not provide the funding required to move forward with plans that will negatively impact on sustainability. I would like to see slightly more her in relation to the actual products that we have but I'm glad to see the progress we are making.

Reduction in operational emissions in offices, decreasing lending in non-renewable energy projects & growing lending portfolio for renewable energy.
Graduate, Perth - 28 Aug 2023
Not too sure how genuine this is but they have targets in place and low scope 1 and 2 emissions, with measures in place to monitor and reduce scope 3. E&S framework sets out rules.
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2023
They have a whole initiative.
