How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
Managers are hit and miss. Some managers are happy to help and make themselves available to you and go that extra mile to make sure you understand your tasks or help you solve issues, however others are very poor and do not respond when you need help. Internal communication can often be unclear as you will be given a barrage of instructions and when you request it be put into writing they don't and you have to make sure you can take effective notes. Performance feedback again depends on the individual - some are more than happy to point out all your failures, however others feel uncomfortable giving negative feedback. I have requested feedback from multiple managers so far and some have never even provided the feedback I have requested.

You have immediate training opportunities with managers and partners. The one on one experience is phenomenal. It dramatically increases your ability to learn and develop.

i'm very happy with the managers, they are amazing mentors and always make time for you when you reach out and so are accessible. They never bring you down, and even when providing criticism its always done gently.

They are very accessible, and make wonderful mentors when they have the time. (Our department is currently working to the max) Feedback is approached both formally and informally, and translates to the same messages as well. Often after a call or project, we debrief on performance, what to work on and keep doing, and that translates to the formal request for feedback as well. We have ways to call out great behaviour internally as well, and those are often recognised at monthly meetings or from your managers and coaches at some point.

My managers are very accessible and are wonderful mentors. They will make time for me if I am struggling or require extra assistance on things I don't understand. My team and managers have a good approach to internal communication and feedback

We have an assigned buddy, project coaches, and a career coach. Your assigned buddy assists you early on to help you acclimate to the new environment. A project coach guides you through your projects, while a career coach supports you throughout your entire journey at Deloitte.

Managers in my team are very accessible and great mentors and are invested in developing me and helping me to build my skills and progress in my career. They are very available and willing to meet with me.

The managers in the teams I've worked with have been very supportive and have always focused on how we can work better as a team. Everyone is open to conversations about performance and feedback - they will often provide feedback where I can do better with the emphasis that it is about growing. Without asking for it, I have also received recognition for my work.

I am satisfied with the way most managers operate; however internal communication isn't always effective and can definitely be improved/ focused on more.
