Overall, we use technology more than printing documents which is good for sustainability, they are encouraging of riding bikes etc to work by having good infrastructure to support this.

They constantly encourage us to act environmentally conscious in terms of how we work and how we use the space around us (ie recycling when appropriate and reducing our habits that impact the environment. i.e printing)

Treasury is well equipped to help deal with sustainability issues in fulfilling its policy functions. Treasury maintains strong links with other departments also involved in sustainability and is always willing to consider environmental impact in its policy advice to government.

There is limited parking and people are encouraged to use public transport, particularly as parking is an eye watering $15.50 a day. Recycling, green waste and general waste bins are in every kitchen with several kitchens per floor. And as before there is set to be a tram stop near by soon. I imagine electricity usage is quite high as there are thousands of laptops and monitors but I am otherwise unsure of any power saving systems.

Every floor has organic waste and recycling bins for use of employees. Most formal events use plastic-alternatives for kitchenware items.

They aim to do a lot however people are ignorant and struggle to make actual change.
