In office we have a healthy work culture where you can be open to your supervisor and outside work, we feel welcome to attend to extracurricular activities such as golf days, lunches with our team.

It's fine. My team doesn't do much outside of work hours, which is fine with me
Graduate, Brisbane - 30 Jul 2024
Culture is positive at an employee level with people being happy to talk and collaborate. Hierarchical nature of culture means that those in leadership ranks often are unapproachable except for individuals.
Graduate, Brisbane - 15 Jul 2024
Generally, I have felt welcomed and supported by colleagues. Almost everyone has been approachable and happy to help.
Graduate, Gold Coast - 10 Jul 2024
My company culture is quite personal and warm. Since I am working in a state government department, there is a clear structured hierarchy between department, divisions and teams. However, colleagues within the same division and team cooperate frequently and ideas are also shared across divisions through socialising and internal social channels.
Graduate, Brisbane - 26 Jun 2024
It's a white elder men culture during office hours with dad jokes. However they are very respectful. After hours everyone likes to go home.
Graduate, Gold Coast - 25 Jun 2024
Not a lot of cultural, I think you'd find there would be more life at the cemetery down the road. However, the team as a collective is great. Super supportive team and always happy to lend a helping hand. It helps that most of the team is within the same office building.
Graduate, Gold Coast - 25 Jun 2024
It often feels as if there is no real hierarchy (in my team at least) and I almost always feel like people are more than willing to assist across projects and answer any questions. There is a good amount of socialising at work during hours but little after hours, given the dynamic of office attendance and also the age of most of the team
Graduate, Brisbane - 25 Jun 2024
Most people in my branch/division are kind, and care about their work. There are a few bad apples that work at levels that are considerably lower than their pay grade that seem immune from consequence. I appreciate there are very minimal amounts of gossiping, except when trends are impossible to ignore.
AO5, Brisbane - 25 Jun 2024
There is good comradery between peers
Graduate, Cairns - 25 Jun 2024
I spend most of my time with professional officer colleagues (Engineers, Geologists, Management, etc) of whom commitment to the work and are great sounding boards for professional and personal improvement. Through the grad program, I have meet many other colleagues of which I consider friends and catch up with them outside work hours
