My managers are very good people. They make sure that there is a healthy work environment at my team. They make time available for me if there is any query I need to discuss with them which i really appreciate. They have a lot of experience, and they are good mentors that I look up to.

I have had 3 great managers. All I consider mentors and are honest with my development and would help if I needed it. Daniel Colborne, Neil Randal and Peter Woods are managers who support the subordinates and are make the grad rotations the best they can be.

My manager makes time for me and I really appreciate that. I feel listened to and more involved in the overall happenings of the team and project thanks to my manager. The praise and recognition was greatly appreciated.

My current manager has many commitments and meeting for various projects, so is not very available to delegate tasks and provide feedback, which leaves me unsure whether the work I am doing is providing value and hindering my ability to be productive.

My mangers are extremely accessible, they are great mentors, always ready to listen and talk. Internal communication comes with great respect, constructive criticism is valid, paise and recognition is always due where necessary.

Graduate, Brisbane - 30 Jul 2024
Very inconsistent in terms of quality. Some managers are amazing, super accessible and focused on communicating and mentoring their team and others are inaccessible and focused on their own development at the expense of their teams. Internal communication is often lacking from management as workloads often have them doing the work of their team instead of focusing on strategic direction and management.

My managers have been very accessible and approachable. I have felt supported and been communicated with excellently.
Graduate, Gold Coast - 10 Jul 2024
My manager is a great mentor, very accessible when he's in office. Similar to other team managers and colleagues, he's polite and quite informal in the internal communication yet still fair in giving performance feedback, praise and recognition.

The managers are pretty good and don't take themselves to serious, which I appreciate. They're always happy to have a chat and provide help and feedback.

The managers are all extremely accessible and approachable, in my team/branch at least. There is also lots of praise and recognition of achievements and work

Most of the managers and directors in my broader team are great.

Managers all have open door policy, try their best to help
Graduate, Cairns - 25 Jun 2024
There are managers and supervisors (sometimes they are the same person), with the managers over seeing a number of projects/tasks and the supervisors with a few tasks while also being there for you. Internal communication is done though a number of sources including face-to-face communication, MS Team's messaging & calling as well as emails, with emails allowing more people to be involved in the conversation as well as catch up with the task had been on going for some time. Performance feedback in done though 6 month formal catch ups, as well as less formal emails, Teams messages or face-to-face recognitions.

I have twice weekly meetings with my manager and have probation discussions which track my progress every month.

Managers are always accessible, even if they are really busy you can always message them on Teams. Most of them are good mentors and are always happy to support learning and development opportunities. Internal communication is really good with fortnightly 1:1 scheduled and emails with any updates. Prais and recognition is given most of the time but this could be done better and maybe in a team setting rather than 1:1 sometimes.
