What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
The pay is fair for the role and my experience.
Manager, Brisbane - 16 Sep 2024
I wish if it matches to US market (higher) but i am grateful for what i am offered right now
Graduate, Gold Coast - 13 Sep 2024
I think it is a bit lower than private section, I worked her for 1 year, will moving the next pay point soon, but a friend of mine just start a Grad Engineer position recently in private sector and he get paid 3k more than my next pay point. But to be fair, we are less stressful
Graduate, Gold Coast - 12 Sep 2024
Base salary is fair based hourly compared to the private sector and travel allowances and super make a positive difference over private. However, bonuses are not used and would be helpful in the current cost of living crisis as well as motivating to workers to meet demands of projects and keep them on track.
Graduate, Brisbane - 12 Sep 2024
We are paid generously.

Graduate, Brisbane - 05 Aug 2024
There are no additional incentives to encourage employees to work hard. Additionally, the pay should consider inflation and must include additional benefits.

For a public company, the pay is great which I highly value. We get regular bonuses as well which I can't fault.
Graduate, Gold Coast - 25 Jun 2024
I am satisfied with the grad salary - it certainly wouldn't match what many other grads are making in private, and it could probably be slightly higher, but I'm satisfied.
Graduate, Brisbane - 25 Jun 2024
I am satisfied with the base rate and on-call/overtime allowances.
AO5, Brisbane - 25 Jun 2024
What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
I am yet to come across any perks. But some milk and coffee provided would be a great start.
Manager, Brisbane - 16 Sep 2024
paid trainings, benefits such as health and wellbeing claim, annual membership claims, full payment for white card which are required for work, vehicles available if the employees need to travel from one office to another office for work, flexible work arrangement.

We don't have these as we are public servants

Super, travel allowances, fitness passport and health cost support

Flexible time and a culture of working within the working hours (i.e. no culture of overtime). This was super important to me because it is hard to work more than my required time due to family responsibilities.
Graduate, Brisbane - 05 Aug 2024
Fitness passport is only thing I am aware of.

The possibility of using company cars for private use.

The best perk would be the flexibility of work time
Graduate, Brisbane - 26 Jun 2024
EA annual membership compensations

Accrued time. I do not feel pressured to over-work myself, as I can just take a day off if that's the case.
Graduate, Gold Coast - 25 Jun 2024
State gov probably has less overall perks but the office facilities are great, flexible hours (time for personal appointments and events), good grad events (although few)
Graduate, Brisbane - 25 Jun 2024
Superannuation contributions are important to me as someone with a working class background, as I am not able to rely on generational wealth for my retirement.
AO5, Brisbane - 25 Jun 2024
A perk is the parking
Graduate, Cairns - 25 Jun 2024
The best perks of TMR, is definitely the flexible working hours and arrangements i.e. working from home. The above standard Super contribution (12.5% rather then 10-11%). The impact your work has on the public given you work for them. Also, the generous food allowances when travelling and working away from home.

I get a bonus every year for 4 years or until I find a higher paying positiion.

Just the work life balance. No other perks.
