There's constant opportunities for training, including weekly training on Fridays, training on new sampling techniques/environmental concerns (from project managers and colleagues), online modules to complete (technical, cyber security, self-development). I'm doing a 7 habits of effective people course which goes over a few months which I've already found helpful.

Some of the online inductions are quite draining and could benefit from some refinement on topics covered and induction length. I think new grads involved in logging soils/rock should have accessed to "calibrated" samples in the lab so we can better understand our logging abilities and where to improve. The current system is subject to "trainer bias" and there's a lag period of 2-4 weeks until the lab can provide any idea of how close your in-field assessment was. This is all done in your own time as well.
