Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture, you will be part of a dynamic team delivering Corporate and Technology Strategic initiatives. The role requires high-level analysis, problem solving and communication skills, coupled with a strong customer service focus. As Data Architect for ERM, and in collaboration across business and technology stakeholders you will harness your experience in business intelligence, analytics, data engineering, data management and data integration to take our Data strategy & ecosystem to the next level of maturity.
A high degree of empowerment to define the data and information management architecture for ERM
work across a broad array of product owners, engineer’s, data scientists & business stakeholders to understand data needs across the full product lifecycle
ensure common understanding of our data and its quality, ownership and lineage throughout its lifecycle from capture through a client interaction through to consumption by internal and external processes and stakeholders
ensure that our data landscape can effectively meet our corporate and regulatory reporting requirements
define the ownership, design and governance of fit-for-purpose data domain models spanning data in motion and data at rest
provide guidance on solution architecture, engineering principles, and implementation of data applications using existing and emerging technology platforms
build a strong data community through collaboration with other architects and engineers and work through this community to execute on opportunities to deliver better client and business outcomes through data
experience as an enterprise data architect
experience in end-to-end implementation of data intensive analytics-based projects (data acquisition, ingestion, integration, transformation and consumption).
knowledge of design, development, and implementation experience utilizing data engineering technologies.
good understanding of Azure and AWS service landscapes, especially data services
experience with data modelling techniques
an understanding of big data architectures and emerging trends
familiarity with Agile methodologies, test-driven development, source control management, and automated testing
