Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Field intrusive soil and groundwater investigations on potentially contaminated sites
- Management of sub-contractors
- Manipulation, tabulation of analytical data
- Production of soil logs by the Australian Standard
- Drafting
- Assessment of results compared to relevant SA EPA and National regulations/guidelines/criteria
- Environmental reporting on the investigation, assessment, monitoring, and management of contamination across various projects
Key selection criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related discipline
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong report writing ability
- Passion for problem-solving
- A great attitude
- Experience with various software including ESdat, gINT, ProUCL, Surfer, GW Chart (highly desirable) is highly regarded
- Good understanding of Australian Standards, SA EPA, and National environmental regulations/guidelines for assessment, remediation, and management of site contamination
