Opportunity Expired
Fortescue is one of Australia’s most dynamic and innovative places to work. In only a decade we have gone from strength to strength through unparalleled expansion of our mines, port and rail infrastructure to build one of Australia’s leading resource companies. The world's fourth largest iron ore producer, we began shipping iron ore to our customers in Asia in 2008 and since then have shipped almost 500 million tonnes.
The heart of our operations is in the Pilbara region of Western Australia with our head office, the Fortescue Centre, in Perth. Fortescue has four mines including Cloudbreak, Christmas Creek and the Kings and Firetail mines at the Solomon Hub. Our ore travels down our 620 kilometers of rail line from each of the mines to the Herb Elliott Port in Port Hedland.
The focus of the Fortescue graduate program is on building both technical and core business skills through practical experience and formal training. Our graduates have the chance to grow their skills and business acumen during a two year structured program.
Graduates undertake a number of rotations giving them exposure to a range of working environments aimed at encouraging a holistic way of observing the business.
Throughout the program we offer meaningful work experience in a fly-in fly-out (FIFO) environment and graduates receive ongoing training and development, including mentoring from our Leaders. During the program, graduates develop strong networks enabling them to share experiences, learn from each other and develop contacts that will last their whole career.
Our values drive our culture and performance through a strong focus on safety, family and determination. We celebrate and respect people’s differences and commit to providing an inclusive work environment. This is an exciting time to join Fortescue.
We encourage Aboriginal Australians and female candidates to apply.
