Culture at FTI Consulting

8.6
8.6 rating for Culture, based on 20 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
The office culture is the best out of everywhere I have worked. Everyone at the firm is understanding that, as a graduate, I am just starting out my career and are always attempting to foster growth and learning opportunities.

FTI Consulting has a positive culture within and after hours. in office and after hours work culture. Within hours the team is quite diligent at completing work but is always ready to have a laugh or go for a catch-up. There is no shortage of team members who are willing to mentor staff. After hours the office often hosts drinks or larger social events. Similarly, smaller groups catch-up external to work.

The culture is great at FTI Consulting! As a graduate coming in with minimal experience, I have been highly supported and guided in all of my assigned tasks. If I have questions, the team are always willing to help and provide assistance at any given time. Although I am a junior, I have had exposure and many opportunities to work on large engagements around the world. During work hours, we mostly eat lunch all together and have regular coffee catch ups. Outside of work hours, we often have social events within my team and also all of FTI. We have a 'FLC Social Club' committee that organise and host events monthly. These events include movie nights, cooking classes, dinners, trivia, ect. Attending these events is a great way to re-wind after work and get to know the team in a more relaxing environment.

Managers trust you to get the job done and dont micromange. They also encourage an open seating plan where you can seat next to and speak to senior level colleagues including senior managing directors. Outside of work, the company is very sociable and encourage its employees to plan and attend social activities. More junior staff have the opportunity to be part of the firm's young professionals committee

Culture is very good at FTI. There is a sense of respect for individuals wit higher status. However, that does not impact how friendly and respectful they are to one another. Culture is also very good in and out of work as their are frequently people staying back after hours for functions, and also meeting with each other outside of work.

The Forensic Litigation & Consulting segment organizes social events every few weeks. There's plenty of opportunities to become good friends with colleagues in the team and in other segments as well. The Valuations team has a terrific culture with lots of flexibility and everyone is really supportive.

Senior leadership team is social and approachable. This relatively flat structure fosters cooperation and team-work with plenty of networking opportunities.

Our team makes a concerted effort to book social events every month as well as team lunches. FTI also sponsors my gym membership as well as my post-graduate qualifications (CFA). Each year we have a forum at a 'holiday destination' for a weekend to encourage collaboration.
