Day to date responsibilities differ from what engagements I am working on. There is a big degree of variability when considering a trade-on versus statutory reporting jobs. Generally, junior staff are responsible for accounts which involves utilising the accounting software and completing statutory lodgments.

The nature of small teams that work on significant state and national projects means that junior staff can have the opportunity to demonstrate their strengths and take on additional responsibilities. There are opportunities for frequent interaction with senior managers and clients.

As a consultant my day to day responsibilities flow from the work of the Brisbane MDs, which I find very rewarding to be directly involved in much of their projects

My day-to-day responsibilities include: - Working with large sets of data and utilising data analytical tools - Assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations - Reviewing business records and performing financial analysis to quantify loss and damage in commercial disputes - Undertaking investigations into financial documents to uncover allegations of fraud and misconduct

My day to day roles will vary depending on the jobs that i am working on. However, my day to day roles typically surround reporting to the director and completing all tasks that are necessary to ensure that the matter runs smoothly.

This is highly dependent on the engagement I am working on, but anything from financial accounting tasks and liaising with employees or creditors on a trading job to financial modelling, and analysis and report writing. It really depends on the day.

I work in Valuation Advisory. My work involves completing valuations of companies, shares and convertible bonds. I've also assisted on independent expert report and prepared a variety of pitch decks and fee quotes for jobs. Management give me a lot of autonomy to complete as much of the work as I can on my own, whilst remaining very approachable for questions.
