How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
There is a large amount of flexibility with the work hours, however being in the client services industry it isn't a typical 9-5 where you clock off at 5pm everyday. There is an element of taking work home with you that is just industry standard.

The company is quite flexible with working hours. There is the opportunity to work from home two days per week. Due to the the firm being a consulting practice, there can be swings in the required workload and period of overtime. However, the team is generally quite flexible on when and where overtime is completed.

hours are slightly flexible, which is appreciated with periods of low and high work

My work hours vary depending on how busy my week is. If we have a short deadline, or a report is due for an engagement, I tend to work longer hours. However, if I have a more 'chill' week with no deadlines, I don't have to work longer hours. As long as you get your work done, and priorities tasks of importance, FTI are flexible with hours.

Hours will depend on how busy you are, meaning if there are not as many tasks to complete, the hours are very giving. however, if new matters come in, or reports need to be finished, your hours may increase. This is just part of the job though.

Generally I am in the office 8.30-6pm. Company is fairly flexible, although it depends on how busy we are as activity peaks and troughs.

It can be tough to hit the high billable hour targets in FLC without working a number of additional hours. Very willing to take this on as the work and exposure has been very rewarding, but it can be a tough challenge sometimes when taking on additional study (CA studies) outside of hours.

Often work minimum hours due to the cyclical nature of the workload. When it's busy, working late is required and expected.

The job of a graduate is to obtain skills that will help them in their careers. Someone who works 9-5 will fall behind. That being said, a good balance is struck between work taken on by each team member.
