Fujitsu do try and hire people internally for a lot of jobs which is nice. They also offer a program called skillsTX which highlights certifications needed if you wish to enter into a different role in the company. I can't see a clear path for progression in my business unit. It makes me think I might be stuck in the same place for a couple years.
Managers set goals for staff & colleagues, every 4 months a meeting is had to see if they're on track or if the goals themselves need reassessing. This is used for granting promotions, career progression is a huge thing within Fujitsu, there are always opportunities to move yourself within your career.
I have the ability to easily step-up and take on more responsibility if I want it
