Management at Fujitsu

8.3
8.3 rating for Management, based on 15 reviews
How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
Very accessible and approachable. Good mentors as well.

Yes, they schedule 1:1s with you. I think praise and recognition is okay, not sure about being open and honest though. Sometimes things can be a bit too 'corporate' and people are inclined to stay diplomatic.

My manager is always super accessible and supportive throughout my journey here at Fujitsu. She is always pushing me to try new things and gives great constructive feedback and praise if I do something well.

I did not receive enough support or direction from managers, having to go to HR to escalate communication.

Internal communication is a little poor. My direct manager has been fantastic but even she finds it hard to know what's going on in the business. When we were restructuring it was frustrating for our team to have no visibility as we were working with various internal stakeholders but the communications between management and employees were being cut off (they disabled chat at the all employee meeting and did not communicate affected business units very well). This caused a lag within our work as we wanted to remain mindful but were blinded wit no real guidance from management
I speak with my managers on a daily basis. They have been more than accommodating with my journey within Fujitsu. My managers are all ways asking for feedback, my thoughts & feelings, what work I would like to pursue & if I need help with anything.
I am very satisfied with my manager
