Training & Personal Development at Fujitsu

7.9
7.9 rating for Training, based on 15 reviews
Please describe the training programmes at your company and tell us what skills you've picked up.
We use the 70:20:10 learning methodology. That means 70% of learning is done on the job. There is a lot of hands-on opportunity, which in my opinion is the best way to learn. I rated 8/10, the remaining 2 is because not all jobs or tasks you get are going to be what you like to do - but it is tailored to your interests for the most part. A job is a job sometimes.

The deep dives have been very interesting, and I learnt a lot about the business as a whole
Graduate, Melbourne - 12 Sep 2024
Barely any training was provided

I have had to pick up very quickly a lot of soft skills on the job as that is at the core of what we do. I wish I had more time for training and development as I'm still a grad and want to fully develop some of the new skills that I've picked up but find myself time poor most days. LinkedIn Learning has been wonderful for the snippets in my week where I find that I'm not at capacity and can afford to spend an hour on developing my skills
Training & onboarding at Fujitsu is very swift, it took me 2 weeks from start to have all the right tools, applications and knowledge to get started in the graduate position. Fujitsu offers a wide range of development programmes and certifications, I have currently been working on ITIL & SAFe certs.
The training is a mixture of broader module training and specific team training.
