I think very diverse. They have a good culture there is a variety of people in my office. Though I come from a minority culture and am one of less then 6 in my office but I do not feel like I am singled out or looked down upon based on my skin and ethnicity. I am also older than your average associate but I do not feel that stigma or ageism. We have a good balance with some colleague being able to take maternity leave, child care is acceptable when you have to leave early to pick a sick child or nurse them at home while you WFH. A big part of that comes from having managers and partners who are understanding and trust you will get your work done, but you are human as well.

I feel like GT genuinely value its employees of all backgrounds. We have people from all over the world and from LGBTIQA community. We have a safe and respectful environment for everyone here, and as a woman I feel valued. They have a committee called GEN which analyses improvements in the workplace for women and LGBTIQA community. I feel valued and appreciated as a woman and foreigner.

They have a rainbow staircase, and there is a gender group

They have a generous paternal leave policy, 6 months fully paid, and encourage people to take it. Plans to have a family don't seem to affect promotions. There are various networds such as GEN and GAWN which promote diversity and promote awareness around gender specific issues, and take action on what can be done.

What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
The company is deeply fostered in diversity and inclusivity. As most companies requires the applicant to be either an Australian citizenship or PR, GT accepts international student and as an international student, this opens up a big opportunity as it is really hard for an international student to land on a job in a foreign land.
