This role will see you working with the marketing, sponsorship sales, market research, audience delivery and project management teams. You will be responsible for creating content for our Large Scale Events which include events such as;
- The Customer Show
- Shared Services
- Field Services Management
- Prisons
- Contact Centre Week and more
About the role:
You will be working with industry professionals and internal stakeholders to create relevant, thought-provoking and critical content for our in-person business events sector. This includes creating conference programmes, finding relevant speakers and running the events on the day in collaboration with the logistics and events team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing conference programs that tap into new innovations and ideas.
- Writing marketing copy, such as press releases, marketing emails and web copy.
- Conducting research with senior executives to familiarise yourself with the inner workings of the topic you are focusing on.
- Attracting and securing speakers to each event.
- Project management across the marketing, operations, sponsorship and sales functions
- Managing budgets and GP margins
- Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
- Onsite running of the event
We’re looking have someone who is:
- An enthusiastic Graduate looking for a career opportunity – 1 year’s corporate experience preferred but not essential.
- Interested in current events and have a broad understanding of the Australian economy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well presented and not afraid to meet face to face with clients.
- Confident over the phone and able to work to tight deadlines
- Has a relevant degree in journalism, marketing, communications, arts or similar
