We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Communications Engineer to join our national Defence Solutions & Advisory team in Perth in 2022 or 2023. You'll provide engineering and design support to our senior ICT engineers on Defence infrastructure projects (bases and facilities) where the ICT systems are critical to delivering Defence’s warfighting capability. You'll help us design defence systems including highly secure terrestrial fibre networks, microwave and SATCOM systems as well as the rapidly maturing cyber warfare practice – and we'll mentor you each step of the way to ensure you're set up for success.
This role will suit a graduate who's seeking to develop a broad skillset in Defence ICT without becoming a specialist in any one technology area. Your role will cover a broad range of systems with a strong emphasis on infrastructure design and how that will deliver capability to the end users, rather than the specific technical parameters of each system.
