An average week for a Graduate Systems Administrator could include a wide range of activities including:

  • Supporting, maintaining and improving an extensive server platform and related applications, across multiple domains and national locations;
  • Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes;
  • Troubleshooting any reported issues;
  • Utilising enterprise-wide monitoring platforms;
  • Updating and creating system documentation;
  • Deploying system-wide software;
  • Adhering to documented policies and procedures;
  • Working as a team to solve complex ICT problems;
  • Directly supporting customer missions through business ICT support.

Graduates will be supported to develop their skills and knowledge specific to this role to ensure they are able to contribute and reach their highest potential.
