Who we are:
Lendlease is a globally integrated real estate and investment group with core expertise in shaping cities and creating strong and connected communities. We create award-winning urban precincts, new communities for older people and young families just starting out, retail precincts, and workplaces to the highest sustainability standards. We are also privileged to create essential civic and social infrastructure including state-of-the-art hospitals, universities and stadiums around the world.
As one of Australia's top construction companies, we are recognised for market-leading project management, design and construction services. We love a challenge and solving problems. Our clients come to us when it’s important: to handle complexity, drive delivery, offer strategic and long-term value, and create innovative solutions.
Our Program:
As a participant of the two-year Lendlease Graduate Program, you will be supported through a structured learning and development program, rotations, dynamic managers, various on-the-job activities, networking, and social activities – allowing you to build lasting relationships with both senior leaders and fellow graduates.
Our grads are anything but ordinary. They are community-builders, change-makers, and record-breakers. But, most importantly, they are themselves. At Lendlease, we celebrate individuality - it’s what makes us unique. From living breathing workplaces, to flexible hours that fit around your life, we’re making room for you to be you. Whatever way you choose.
Current roles available:
Site Engineer: As a Graduate Site Engineer, you would work alongside the wider construction project teams responsible for coordinating and monitoring the activities and efforts of contractors and suppliers onsite to ensure construction is completed within schedule and cost. This will involve supporting the project across safety, quality, cost, and program.
Commercial: You will undertake rotations within various commercial functions to develop a holistic understanding. You will gain exposure to bids and proposals through Precontracts & Tenders; learn about Head contracts and subcontracts through Legal; develop skills in forecasting, cashflow management and reporting within Project Finance. You will also be placed within one of our construction projects to undertake procurement, contract administration and project reporting.
Cost Planning: You will learn key skillsets in providing quick and accurate measurement of quantities, contributing to the production of conceptual and detailed cost plans, estimates and value engineering on a range of major projects, as well as learning how to reduce risk and analyse data in controlling design to a defined set of cost parameters. Through this you will develop an understanding of market conditions with regards to applicable rates, subcontractors, supply chain and our competitors.
About You:
You will enjoy interacting with a diverse range of individuals, be motivated by challenge and change whilst driven to deliver results through your resourcefulness. We look for graduates who are passionate, motivated, and driven to be effective, with a commitment to safety, sustainability, and diversity.
