How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Company is flexible with when you work, and if you need to take time-in-lieu, or WFH. It could be improved by myself and others spending less lunches at our desks.

Super flexible.

Our workplace so far is very understanding when it comes to being flexible with our work hours. That is from my own experience though.

I face no pressure to work beyond my contracted hours. The company is very flexible when it comes to hours, recognising there are certain responsibilities that you have to meet, such as attending certain meetings, which are completely manageable.

It is very rare that I have to work more than my standard hours. I also have the flexibility to choose my working hours and am comfortable taking time in the day to attend appointments and being able to make the time up later.

Flexible working conditions, good government hours and flex time if you go over. All teams I've worked in have been flexible with start and finish times and WFH arrangements.

Very flexible and respects employee wellbeing.

The Agency is very flexible, as long as I complete my 7.5 hours between 7am and 7pm, there are no issues. There is a preference that I stick to my general hours. However, I can be flexible when needed. I sometimes work over my standard 7.5 hours, however, am fairly remunerated and this is not an expectation.

I find my supervisor to be very flexible with work hours. I often accrue flex so that I can take off an afternoon to attend appointments.

The agency allows flexible working arrangements to suit the need of the employee

I on average do the normal 37.5 hour week. And work from home 3 times a week.

My team goes through periods of being very busy due to understaffing. However, I have rarely been outwardly expected to do overtime, and when that has happened, it has been limited. I am given the flexibility to finish work when I need to. I also work a 9-day fortnight out of personal preference (not compressed hours, just a voluntary pay cut).

Very flexible and ensure that work like balance is real.
Graduate, Canberra - 15 Jul 2024
Seemingly very flexible, but I do feel that the days are very long, and the expectation of 9 to 5 is disproportionate to the actual workload. I get my work done in less time than I am rostered for.
Graduate, Canberra - 25 Jul 2023
The hours spent at work are reasonable. I would rather start later and leave later to make it a more enjoyable experience, and to reduce tiredness.
Graduate, Darwin - 25 Jul 2023
I find this workplace extremely flexible. I find I am able to manage my hours and never have any trouble with out of work appointments.

They are highly flexible to different working arrangements

Would like more flexibility - eg. being able to work 3 days a week from home.
