Nissan is a global car manufacturer that sells a full line of vehicles under the Nissan and INFINITI brands. Nissan’s global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan, manages operations in four regions: Japan-ASEAN, China, Americas, and AMIEO (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe & Oceania).
The key objective of this newly created Graduate role here at Nissan is to support the procurement team by working within the business on cost-reduction initiatives. This will include going to market (tender), commercial negotiations, delivering best-value solutions, assisting with contract finalisation, conducting contract reviews as well as supplier relationship management just to name a few.
You will maintain a varied client group across the business and will be a key contributor in working with multiple stakeholders leading procurement sourcing activities.
Key responsibilities in supporting the Nissan procurement team, include (but are not limited to the following functions):
