An integral role in supporting organisational enablement initiatives across the Australian business, this graduate/entry-level role will work under the direction of the Organisational Enablement Manager in developing, facilitating and implementing a range of workforce initiatives and programs within the fields of organisational development and workforce planning.
This role is suited to a person who is open to learning new skills and wanting to gain experience in cross-exposure environments. It will require the successful candidate to build relationships across enterprise and learn to build trust with Australian and US stakeholders.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support and develop a range of strategic HR programs and projects
- Support learning and development through training programs and courses including:
- Provide support for a range of Australian workforce activities being undertaken across the business
- Work in collaboration with all Australian business units to ensure the alignment of Human Resources processes/ programs across Australia
- Comply with NGA's policies and procedures
Skills, Experience and Qualifications required:
- Degree in relevant HR discipline
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills
- Highly competent in the use of systems including Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook), web tools (Zoom and WebEx), HRIS and LMS.
- Strict adherence to ethics, confidentiality and business conduct policies and company values.
- Ability to work with range of stakeholders including attaining and maintain relevant STEM clearances including Working With Vulnerable People.
- MUST be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DEFENCE security clearance
Desired requirements:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to undertake data research and analysis for report creation and record management
- Understanding of training coordination and scheduling in a fast paced, large and complex environment, knowledge of adult learning principles, ability to facilitate simple leadership and professional courses, ability to review and provide advice to technical leads to improve course materials and familiarity with development of training including accessibility frameworks and software packages
- Exceptional organisational skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise work, working with remote stakeholders, team player willing to help out with critical business requirements, excellent time management and planning skills, resilience and ability to handle multiple competing priorities and ability to interact with HR team, management and staff.
