Working Hours at NSW Government

9.1
9.1 rating for Working Hours, based on 45 reviews
How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Really flexible hours. I was able to start and finish early, which also helped travel wise with traffic etc. I usually work 730/8am to 4pm. Also flexible with if I needed to work outside the standard 930-3pm you were required to be available for.

I believe I have the flexibility to work from home when required and or on a regular basis. I have not been asked to come into the office and have been encouraged to work from home more often due to travel time. The hours can be long on some days when required, but this is infrequent.

Usually work around 7 hours a day. Hours are fairly flexible as well as receiving flex days if more hours are worked than contracted.

I generally work 9-5, but with only one day in the office. The rest I work from home. If you can't make it into the office one week, it's generally fine, just don't make a habit of it. People can work any 8 hours from 7am to 7pm.

You work 7 hours a day (with a minimum half hour lunch break). The hours are flexible, and it is a conversation to be had with your manager. Any time that you work over the 7 hours a day accrues as flex leave (which you can take like regular leave).

Pretty flexible as long as you do 7 hours a day all week

2 days in office per week, with it being semi flexible on which days you come in, however your team will generally have days they go in so the days stay the same.
