Based in Knoxfield, Victoria within the Opal Fibre Packaging division, this is an exciting role for a recent graduate with experience in pricing/estimating/costing or quoting within a manufacturing environment. You will support our pre-sales, design and sales teams in the preparation of accurate and timely costing activities.
You will contribute to the success of opal by completing the following:
- Provide optimised quoting & costing support to sales that aligns with our value+ strategy
- Provide insights and analytical support to the business by gathering, reviewing, and interpreting data, to provide meaningful information to assist the business in making better-informed decisions.
- Improve customer margin by identifying cost savings opportunities on new and existing materials.
- Be the key contact in various project work that requires quoting, costing, onboarding of customers etc
- Develop a sound understanding of our manufacturing process to be able to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Be a champion of training & support for our business quoting tool iCollect/Spek.
- Provide key advisory service and commercial support to the State Sales, Estimation and Customer Service Team.
- Contribute and participate in the Tender process from initial quoting through to commercial analysis.
- Provides local & national commercial support including outperformance projects in sales and operations.
- Develop & maintain relationships across the business with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Provide key business advice to manufacturing & supply chain by providing accurate and timely analysis of financial and manufacturing results highlighting the links to physical drivers and emerging trends including options and recommendations for business improvement.
