Your role
Responsibilities
- Provide legal services that meet the highest professional standards
- Investigate the facts of a case, including by taking and recording client instructions
- Briefing counsel and experts
- Under the supervision of a lawyer, prepare drafts of letters of advice to clients, and correspondence to third parties
- Triaging and contacting new client enquiries
- Collating evidence and conducting discovery reviews
- Conducting research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles
- Organising and maintaining documents in a paper and electronic filing system
- Gathering and arranging evidence and other legal documents for review and case preparation
- Writing reports and memoranda
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents
- Handling exhibits, taking notes, or reviewing transcripts
- Meeting all admission to practice requirements
- Contribute to a workplace culture that is highly professional but relaxed and fun, that is efficient and outcome-focussed, and which encourages collaboration and creativity irrespective of seniority
- Perform such other duties as directed and necessary for the proper performance of the role
