Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role are, but not limited to the following:
Due diligence:
- Assisting with due diligence investigations on behalf of vendors or potential acquirers;
- Assisting with investigating accountant (IPO) due diligence investigations for businesses seeking to list on the ASX;
- Preparing components of financial due diligence reports;
- Analysing financial information of target entities in order to conclude on quality of earnings;
Valuations:
- Performing research into appropriate comparable companies and transactions;
- Drafting parts of the requisite valuation reports;
- Preparing and reviewing financial forecast models;
- Collecting, analysing and interpreting information on the financial standing, cost structures and trading effectiveness of organisations; and
- Assistance with corporate advisory engagements as required.
Skills & Experience
- Relevant University qualifications;
- Is seeking to become a CA;
- Strong report writing skills;
- Interested in analysing and challenging financial data;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to be adaptable to meet individual client needs; and
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
