The department is very environmentally conscious and the immediate office is filled with information/opportunities to reduce waste. Also, numerous environmentally conscious programs exist within the department.

Not a whole lot of importance is put towards reducing footprint. There are multiple bins placed throughout the floor, but more could be done in this space.

I can't say we place a lot of emphasis on this topic, my team does as we work with designing systems so it's often a consideration. The office space does try to save electricity in some areas.

E-waste recycling events. Recycling bins for coffee cups and batteries. Bins for paper cycling and mixed recycling. There is a bike locker on the underground level containing showers, which encourages people to cycle to work.

From the official stuff it looks like we're interested in taking more opportunities, but again I haven't been here long enough to actually evaluate. HR organised three follow-ups to a staff survey last year (or something like that) so the speed at which anything happens is uncertain.
