8.8 rating for Working Hours, based on 39 reviews
How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Yes, I start and leave earlier than typical and have been allowed to do so for most of my time here.
Graduate, Brisbane - 10 Sep 2024
Hybrid working arrangements, I work 3 shifts in total, early shift from 7:30am to 3:30am, normal shift from 8am to 4pm, and late shift from 8:30am to 5pm. The team is flexible so no fixed days on the office, but currently, I work from home on Thursday and Friday, Monday to Wednesday I work in the office.

Hours are not too long.

High level of flexibility with start/finish times and work-from-home. Typically spend 50% of the time in the office. There is however an expectation to occasionally work overtime, during weekends and overnight, sometime for more than 10 hours per shift.

I work in the office Mon-Wed and work at home Thurs-Fri. All hours are flexible, Government is great is this area.

We have a 2 day WFH/week arrangement at the workplace. Generally this makes the weeks feel less tedious as I don't have to spend too many days commuting in. Even more flexibility would be great, but I'm not complaining. Work hours are flexible and we have a pretty large window of when we can start, and just have to make sure we do enough hours per day. We can accrue and use flex as we go to manage our work/life balance.

Overall, I've been very satisfied with my working hours. All teams I've been in have been respectful of my hours and I'm able to leave as soon as I have fulfilled my respective hours for the day. If I stay back for a day I can finish up early the next day etc.

In a typical week I'll spend Monday - Thursday in the office and work from home on the Friday.

There is a work from home arrangement in place, you can choose how many days you want to be in the office (2-3)

Prefer to work from home full time, but being in the office 2 or 3 days a week is okay

Very flexible, I work 2 days from home and do 7.15 hours of work a day with 2, 15min breaks and a half an hour lunch break.

I work for a standard 36.25 hours per week, but there is flexibility to the hours each day. It is possible to work from home 50% of the time, so that also gives a lot of flexibility that I really enjoy.

Very flexible with hours. Good working from home policy.

My daily work hours are 7 hours and 36 minutes. We're not allowed to work more than 9 hours a day. I accumulate flex time when I work beyond my daily hours. Flex time can be used to leave work early.
Graduate, Brisbane - 30 Jan 2023
Not expected to stay more than 5x7.25h days - any hours that I stay beyond that get accumulated to "free" leave which is pretty good (downside is it encourages excess work).
Graduate, Brisbane - 30 Jan 2023
It's very flexible, you can start and end whenever just as long as you do your weekly number of hours. The weekly hours are a bit long though.
