Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
My team is very helpful and friendly. Everyone in the office is down for a friendly chat. There is a good culture among the grads - we catch up outside of work hours.

There have been recent improvements in the work culture, after some leadership changes. It feels like the company cares about their staff and there are always great chats with the rest of the team.

Good work-life balance. Fairly social and good atmosphere amongst the graduates and interns in the office. Very easy to talk to anyone in the office, regardless of their seniority.

The culture definitely differs from project to project, however the company makes great strides as a whole to achieve a great place to work. In office hours, I am comfortable to reach out to anyone within my team for help and often complete tasks with the aid of other members of my team and often spend time brainstorming with a couple members before deciding the best course of action. The social club hosts numerous events/competitions throughout the year to encourage engagement between colleagues from different teams, where there is not much in working day to day. Hierarchy is well defined, meaning I always know who to look to if I have an issue or questions and where to go if I need further help.

I think the culture at Raytheon Australia is very good. of course there is a hierarchy which is used to delegate, determine who will complete what work, and where the limit of responsibility is (i.e. a graduate will have less responsibility than a senior, senior less than a principal etc). A perfect example is how approachable senior personnel in the company are. This is very much appreciated and a good reflection on the culture at Raytheon Australia. There is also socialising within the individual teams as well as location based (i.e. Mawson Lakes team drinks).
