Current manager is absolutely fantastic, very supportive, approachable and down to earth

My manager has been great so far. Very accommodating and supportive.

Management is very accessible, and they always have time to help out or answer questions. I believe there is a bit of a conflict with having a manager as a mentor, as a mentor should be prioritising the mentee's career goals and aspirations, however that may not be what is best for the team/company.

My manager is always happy for a chat. He is a great mentor and has afforded me any opportunity I seek out, it is important that I seek out the opportunities though as they are not always freely offered. Verbal praise and recognition is freely given and ensure that I'm feeling good about the work that I'm doing and that I'm valued in my position. We have performance reviews twice a year in which we can provide feedback to them as well as receive feedback but my manager will also make himself available for meetings at any time if I request.

I am quite satisfied with the managers at Raytheon Australia. Everyone is very approachable and happy to collaborate and communicate with you regardless of their 'level' from a hierarchical perspective.
