I haven't really been involved in any training. I haven't had the opportunity yet to participate in PoSE or ELP but assume I will in the future.

The company invests A LOT into the development of it's graduates (and all other employees). Multiple multi-day training courses are held per year which employees are actively encouraged to sign up for. Travel and accommodation to the training location is paid for. These courses include leadership development, systems engineering training, logistics training, and project management training.

There are specific training courses for engineers and project managers, as well as a large library of online courses that staff can access at any time.
Graduate, Canberra - 14 Aug 2024
Formal training includes ethics, security and export agreement training which renews annually. As part of the leadership continuum, there are also leadership training courses which you can apply to attend. There is a principals of engineering course that is run, but there have not been enough courses run for all engineers to have the opportunity to attend. There is some skills/discipline specific training such as learning CAD and FEA programs but there should be more investment into this.
