This role will be based at the Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence – MILVEHCOE, Redbank and also at Ann St in the Fortitude Valley.

About the Role
The Procurement team has several graduate roles open for a February 2024 or July 2024 start in Brisbane. We are seeking applicants with diverse backgrounds including business, commerce, engineering or law graduates.
The RDA Procurement Graduate Program consists of four rotations (each three months long). Three of the rotations will be completed within the broader Supply Chain Team, the rotations may include:
- Subcontracts;
- Procurement;
- Australian Industry Content;
- Facilities; or
- Program Strategic Purchasing.
The Procurement Graduate Program allows Graduates to experience working in various parts of the business, engage with different stakeholders (e.g. customers, suppliers, Procurement, Project Management, Finance and Engineering) and develop a well-rounded commercial and professional skillset.
The general and generic duties of a Graduate at RDA may include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with the negotiation of contractual documents with subcontractors and other members of the RDA supply chain;
- Participate in the structuring and negotiation of commercial transactions;
- Support the broader Supply Chain Team, including senior team members with ad hoc activities including preparation of contracts, documents, correspondence, training materials and other tasks as required;
- Identifying analytical solutions to problems and difficult situations in the day to day operations of the respective team and broader business;
- Work with the respective teams to streamline processes and increase productivity;
- Actively develop a thorough understanding of RDA policies, procedures and the Defence industry as a whole;
- Effectively communicate with all key stakeholders across various parts of the business in support of senior team members; and
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your Manager from time to time in support of achieving strategic and commercial objectives.
