As an externally facing consultant, I am responsible for organising and managing multiple audits and client relations at any single point in time. This mainly involves building new test work papers to audit clients against, interviewing clients on the controls, documenting the findings and supporting evidence and formulating a final report.

Audits at the company sets unrealistic deadlines and huge workloads on seniors. site audit are much more enjoyable and offer more opportunity to learn.

As an Undergradute, I am afforded a higher level of responsibility and autonomy than I expected, while still having a support system in place to assist when I am stuck or need assistance with workflow/technical issues. My day to day responsibilities include a range of activities, mainly preparing financial statements for clients while gettting exposure to a variety of new expereinces or once off tasks

My role mainly comprises of completing the fieldwork stage of an audit. In some cases, I am involved in the reporting stages too. The fieldwork stage involves completing tests to verify the controls a client has in place to protect/mitigate against any potential risks. The reporting state involves summarising the findings of the fieldwork stage into factual validation documents for discussion with the relevant client stakeholders, and draft a report based off these discussions. I enjoy the work that I do.

At the moment I am collecting previously billed invoices in order to transition to the new software replacing Greatsoft. Learning reception and a few admin duties is also one of my responsibilities.

At the Preparer Level doing the following: - Format Financial reports - Tax Returns (Individual, Partnership, Trust, Company) - Xero Workpapers - etc I do realise the importance of attention to detail when i get work from my seniors/supervisors, and when things are quite technical, I am always welcome to get their advise/guidance whilst completing my day to day tasks.

Drafting detailed reports relating client projects and activities across a range of industries including finance, software, agriculture, manufacturing. Using excel to analyze financial reports and calculate relevant expenditures. Assist client meetings for prospective or existing clients to ascertain potential opportunities. Administrative duties including adding clients to software's and compliance procedures.

I am satisfied with the work I receive up to a certain point. I have been working on similar projects, which has increased dissatisfaction, however the work is generally challenging and offers complex problems to solve. I feel like my day-to-today responsibilities are quite simple, as I'll report to my manager in the morning, or whenever he calls during the day, and outside of this I always have project work on which keeps me busy.

I am an R&D Graduate responsible for drafting project descriptions relating to innovations across a wide range of clients. My daily tasks include conducting detailed cost calculations, analyzing R&D expenditures on behalf of our clients, and actively participating in technical meetings.

I am still training but I am more than satisfied with the work I am being given.

My roles is as a consultant who helps with various audits/engagements in terms of reviewing evidence and control testing.

My role as a graduate analyst requires me to do specialist tax work, day to day this involves documentation or drafting of tax scheduling.

Work within the Valuations team. Researching and analysing companies.

My role as a graduate student is to prepare BAS, individual tax returns, business schedule and simple data entry tasks, and administrative duties. I feel that the experience I am gaining even from carrying out simple tasks is helpful for my future and the managers are always letting me know about things that need to be updated or changed. And that helps alot. With administrative duties, I feel it helps getting to know about the clients more rather than just doing job, when meeting or filing the clients documents, you get to know more about the client and who they are, what they do and how their job/entity will affect or reflect on the job on hand.

Writing project descriptions, preparing expenditure workbooks, reading and replying to emails, reviewing work done by my junior, managing our daily admin and attending meetings.

The common day to day activities I do are: - Scanning Documents - Doing client's Tax Returns and Financial Statements - Review with the manager the work I have done and receive any feedback that I have done well and what I need to improve on. - Sit with a Colleague or Manager and work with them by understanding the processes of certain jobs that Accountants do for Clients. - I have a responsibility to Lock my computer away after each day - I have a responsibility to wear professional clothing - I have a responsibility to communicate if I need help.
