What projects/initiatives does your employer run and what have you worked on personally?
Very committed. I've yet to see any example of wilful negligence.

The corporate social responsibility exists in writing however the conversations which come from the top of the company are a different story, they write one thing however the pressure which is put on staff does not align with what is the right thing to do.

I don't know what CSR is so haven't had any first hand experience on any of these projects or initiatives if there are any. I'm guessing its things like the Santos foundation in PNG etc but haven't heard about many in Aus or experienced any so not sure.

They support a number of community engagement projects and there are opportunities to get involved.

As a petroleum company, they go above and beyond as they are held to account by media and shareholders. CCS is a good example of this and net zero 2040 commitment.

Very good, there are a lot of charity programs that Santos is involved in or runs in the countries they operate.

Volunteering and fundraising events could be better supported and encouraged by management as opposed to it having to be grassroots-led initiatives. I have volunteered at a WA Foodbank volunteering day in the past, but this was organised by a graduate and not by management.

So far Santos has been doing some fantastic things in PNG but I don't think its doing enough to date. More needs to be done, for example increasing the maximum amount of Small Grants Funding to K50000 from K10000 and increase the Small Grant Funding for first timers from K5000 to K10000.

I do think Santos is genuinely committed to making a positive impact. However, for a company of Santos' size, I think we could be doing more. Again, part of being a low-cost operator.

We often sponsor and host community event in rural areas.

There are many welfare projects that Santos sponsors in PNG and Australia that help to boost local communities. The impacts of these are shared in company news and appear to have a very positive impact on the community
