I think the promotion opportunities are big at our firm. In order to move up the ranks I think you just need to work on more jobs frequently and understand what you need to do and develop your technical skills.

I feel like it is a every linear approach, however it hasn't really been explained what you have to do to move up the ranks. I know after a year majority of grads automatically move to intermediate, but from then on it depends on how you are going and where you are on your journey with CA.

There are promotion opportunities for everyone at my company. Working hard is going to present the most opportunities, but there is room for everyone who works here. Those who aren't driven by promotions are able to attend work each day and not worry about their position being made redundant. There is no churn and burn culture here.

Particularly in audit there is quite a linear career progression pathway from junior to manager/partner. As long as you put in the time and effort required, you are almost guaranteed to be promoted.
