Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
Workplace culture in the Sydney Office has been great. More senior employees and partners continue to be welcoming and supportive. Everyone is very understanding and willing to assist in growth and learning.

culture is very much work 24/7 and work is life. People work all the time after work hours and it's expected. Not much help for grads

Me and my grads have a good culture and we get along very well have not had the chance to get to know others in the team as closely

I always talk with other colleagues about their day or other topics outside of work and get to know them closer. I'm also always in contact with the other graduates outside office hours and do some workout classes after work as well. Hence, I really like the culture and my colleagues feel like my own family.

During office hours the culture is alright, there is not much social interaction within the office space. A lot of people are just at their desks, there is some socializing at lunch times but not for a long time as people just eat and then go back to their desks. Within the office there is a lot of co-operation and teamwork when you need help with work, which is good. After hours there is rarely any after work activities, as majority of people stay late at work and do overtime.

Amongst the BPCA division we have a strong team culture. We have daily 10@10 meetings along with weekly workflow meetings and monthly catch ups. These meetings serve as an opportunity to discuss jobs and what each of us are doing, where people can help and how you are doing with work and feeling in regard to the work etc. Every now and again we catch up after work to socialise - not often though.

I feel like the company culture is really good. When in the office we all socialise with each other, rather than just staying at our desks, doing our own work. However I feel like majority only talk to those in their divisions, rather than other from other divisions as well. We have some events after hours like drinks or team dinners, which majority of people go to and seem to have a good time. Within our division we have different teams and within each team there is a director, associate director, managers, senior, Intermediates and grads. Work flows down the from higher ups, however, everyone is willing to help out and teach each other on how to do jobs. Although most of our work comes from within our team, if other teams need help we always help them out or do other things for different divisions. Like my division helps out audit and tax with their ASIC regulation requirements.

The socializing with colleagues are generally good, have already getting to know mostly of the people in my division. However, due to lots of resignations happening in this office, some conscious and worries have raised.

I think the culture is really positive. Everyone is friendly and although we are allowed to work from home 1 or 2 days a week, people are mostly in the office. We have lunch provided each week which I think may encourage people to come into the office and the working environment is really nice. I sit in my team with my buddy and manager, who are always willing to lend a hand if I am stuck on a particular task.

I feel right at home within my team. Everybody is like-minded in their work ethic and maturity, but are also comfortable to relax and have fun when the opportunity arises.

In SW, I value open communication and collaboration between colleagues. We actively engage with each other, encouraging idea-sharing and mutual support. I believe in addressing challenges with constructive feedback and finding solutions as a team. This fosters a sense of trust and camaraderie, contributing to a productive and enjoyable workplace for everyone.

Team is supportive, managers are kind and willing to teach and discuss. Partner not only focuses on work, but also cares about other thing, like career development, personal development. No one would contact me after hours, which I am appreciated.

You can talk to everyone and get along with everyone, there is not much of a hierarchy in the office.

The company's culture is great, there are always social events happening and everyone has been very friendly. There is great teamwork, if anyone is ever feeling that their workload is too much, everyone is happy to help out.

The culture at SW is good, there really is a level of cooperation between everyone however I feel like there is a hierarchy aspect which might just take us graduates time to adjust to

Within the tax team there is a very strong culture of comradery and this is after hours too at social gatherings organised within the team

The culture at SW is good and I feel and hope it will get better as time goes on. I would love if there was more support and acceptance around fashion in the office and letting people express themselves as well as keeping it work appropriate

The company as very good cooperation between levels and divisions, with a welcoming culture.

The culture is very good in terms of what I have seen so far. Everyone is genuinely friendly and supportive. There is a clear hierarchy between juniors, intermediates, seniors, partners, and so on. Although there exists this chain-of-command, I do not feel too weird talking to the higher-ups and they are quite friendly and down-to-earth. A lot of the seniors and grads are quite social, so there is a social environment to be had, but also a lot of the work is done at a client's office, so we don't often seen everyone at once. There have been a few afterwork events for socialising, which I have enjoyed, and have helped with socialising with your colleagues. There could be improvements though, for instance, the divisions are quite separated, and I do not know anyone else from the other divisions, nor do I have any reason or incentive to talk with them.
