The work cutlure is really good
Graduate, Brisbane - 27 Aug 2024
I really like all my colleagues, social events with them are always fun and I've gotten along with everyone I've been in the field with so far. The structure is clear but not isolating, most of the senior staff are happy to help and socialise with the graduates.

Good teamwork amongst everyone, very collaborative. Lots of social events after work for everyone.

The company's culture is good - Friday drinks and frequent social events. My team doesn't socialise much in the o_ce but is extremely cooperative and believes in teamwork. We do socialise at industry events quite frequently but not so much in o_ce.

People are so open and connected to each other which creates a better work environment.

The senior staff are very supportive and fun to work with. We have a flexible work schedule. it's easy to approach anyone for help. There are good team building activities from time to time outside work hours.

Great culture within our team. It's a very culturally diverse team that gets along very well with each other. The team works well together to help resolve issues that members come across (even if not directly involved in the project). Everyone is treated equally and with great respect. The team socialises well (we have a cookie jar that gets a nice workout during the day!)

While the company hosts numerous social events, team members tend to stay within their own groups, which creates a sense of cohesion but also provides an opportunity to branch out.
Graduate, Melbourne - 03 Aug 2024
Culture is very good within my team. There have been issues previously but they seem to have been managed appropriately and there are no long-term e_ects. My manager is a bit newer, so he is still learning too, but I like the way that he manages the team, and he is always professional. Our team goes to mine sites a lot on two and four-person trips, so teamwork and cooperation is a big deal. Socialising is also valued throughout the team, although there is no pressure to attend social events if you can't make it.

Nice team, nice people and nice culture
Graduate, Canberra - 02 Aug 2024
The culture in o_ce is inclusive and diverse. There are many cultural events held in the o_ce that build a great base for sta_ to have fun and social. After hours there are also activities including Sydney Vivid Cruise, or Christmas in July, which bring us together as a whole.
Graduate, Sydney - 02 Aug 2024
At work it is not discouraged to ask questions and talk to my work mates, and we often work through problems together. There is a strong sense of team and individuals' accomplishments are acknowledged. I get to know my work mates outside of work and we organize team lunches, and have social gatherings organized by different team members.

Culture is pretty average. Culture in the office can be a bit lifeless and dull, not bad per se, but I don't necessarily look forward to being in the office. There are events here and there, volunteering wise, which is nice. But these usually don't count towards work hours, which sucks. Also, there could be more grad events.

Culture is fairly lacking. There are some events but not enough in my opinion. Barely any socializing in the o_ce, the o_ce has a "rigid and sterile" vibe and environment. You come to the lunch area and there's barely anyone there. Most people just sit and work at their desk the whole day. They should at least do a quick walk or stretch every now and then.

My company culture is fantastic even in the office or after hours. Everyone seems to get along very well and there's not really anything that I don't love about it. There are a few teams within my office, everyone has their own role to play. But the cooperation among members is fantastic, socializing is also great.

Culture is quite good. Fairly open and inclusive. Open office plan means everyone sits together regardless of title so communication is pretty easy. Fridays after work usually have food and drinks in the breakout area.

The culture is quite good, but being such a large company there are a lot of people to get to know and small talk isn't my favorite thing in the world

At Stantec I would say the culture is pretty good - often eating together as a team or going out for lunch with groups in the office.

It's really good workplace for everyone. There are lot of GDP programs running on throughout the year which is really helpful for the fresh graduates to develop their professional skills.
Graduate, Perth - 02 Nov 2023
Company culture is good within my office, i have seen the opposite in other offices though.
