Job Satisfaction at Stockland

There are some BAU tasks that we have to do on a day-to-day basis, which is understandably tedious but important for the continuation of the business. However, in the teams that I have worked with, we dedicate a lot of time to building new tools, work on projects, and make our work more streamlined and automated. I have been able to learn a lot about automating processes on two cloud providers as well as on local machines. There are exciting projects all around and it has been very true that no two days have been the same. There is a huge innovation culture and innovation is appreciated and encouraged.

The graduate program was more ad-hoc tasks. It would have been a lot better if there were tasks that I could take ownership of.

Currently a Development Graduate in the LLC space. I'm responsible for or assist with the project finances, design, sales, & marketing.

I am currently on my third grad rotation. My day-to-day responsibilities being in the acquisitions team is to support our analysts and to support our manager in carrying out the tasks associated from site selection to settlement of the sale.

I am satisfied with my current workload. I manage key responsibilities, including month-end tasks, while also having the opportunity to contribute to larger projects and support colleagues with complex calculations.

Graduate PM, assist the APM's and PM's with procurement and delivery of projects. Day-to-day is mostly just assisting with basic tasks and attending on site meetings.

Site checks and managing contractors to make sure they're supported and understand Stockland's need on their site. Reporting to the business through numerous tools. Numerous safety checks and obligation check ins to make sure everything is done correctly and safely.

The team is always willing to assist me when I require and constantly check in with me to see if there are any more responsibilities I'd like to take on or learn

paralegal work and counsel support

My current role is to support the team on Stockland's residential assets, including Masterplan communities and our Land Lease communities. This can include working on transactions, dealing with matters that arise in managing our residential assets, and advising the business on marketing material to do with all of our communities throughout Australia.

My role is very diverse and I have a good amount of reach across different projects and teams.

My day to day responsibilities include managing the GRC portal on ServiceNow, supporting the organisational resilience and risk management aspects of the business.

You find yourself constantly chasing work to do, with little check in from managers. Day to day is often lots of small tasks

I am currently working with the LLC sales team to deliver exceptional customer experience and meet sales targets. I work closely with sales managers to identify strengths and weaknesses in processes and work on ways to improve them.

I work in the data engineering team. As this is a new field for me, the team has been very understanding and assessing my skills, they have been assigning me tasks that are just on the edge of my current skills, so I can be confident doing them and learn something new at the same time. We have two-week sprints. The senior members and the manager of my team take great care in assigning me tasks that would help me learn and grow. Throughout the process, they are always available to help me whenever I ask for their help. At present, I mostly do BAU and platform improvement work. The senior members have been assigning me some tasks relating to Data, which I requested them in my 1-1 sessions with my manager.

Good variety of work which makes everyday look different. Constantly learning new things.

My day-to-day responsibilities include preparing financial statements (updating comparatives for the Pro Forma financial reports), reconciling GL accounts for Notes 1 and 2 of the financial report, resolving variances, MER calculation and AP reconciliation. It has kept me busy which I like.

I truly feel like the day to day work I do is important. And people within my team (and even beyond) are always happy to support me whenever and wherever I need
