Swiss Re Australia's Life & Health Actuarial Management team comprises approximately two dozen staff across the Sydney and Bangalore offices, responsible for delivering all actuarial reporting requirements and for developing a deep understanding of the diverse and complex reinsurance business in Australia and New Zealand.
The team strives to provide actionable insights to senior leaders locally and globally proactively. They collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout Swiss Re to help deliver efficiently implemented projects and reinsurance offerings to their clients. They are constantly striving to use the latest analytical tools to provide more insights to both the internal partners and the clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently studying Actuarial Studies to join their Actuarial Management team over the 2023/2024 summer University vacation.
The primary focus of this role is to assist the Actuarial Management team with year-end Financial reporting and various project assignments.
You'll take on concrete tasks and various projects straightaway, supported by your team. Networking and social and business events will allow you to fully experience Swiss Re's company culture. You'll join Swiss Re's New Entrants Days and you'll get relevant training allowing you to develop new skills.
