My day to day mainly includes working on innovation/engineering/uplift projects, up until recently.

Market research, evaluating strategic ambitions, building presentations, storylines and narratives.

The day-to-day responsibilities vary in each rotation. From my experience, most of the week is spent working on a project that the team has prioritised, while also spending some time on a task on another project. I also try to find at least a few hours each week to prioritise my professional development as a way to upskill.

I am a graduate within the Individual Life Business Unit at TAL. Day to day operations is dependent on the rotation I am in. At TAL we experience 4 grad rotations over the course of 2 years. Each rotation is 6 months. Day to day mix of work includes any ad-hoc project work, and Business as Usual activities.

As a software/front-end dev, I work mostly with React language and managing content management systems. There are lots of opportunities to also work with other areas such as back-end and automation tests but this is dependent on your team's capacity.

Reporting, pitch preparation, desk top research, RFP assistance

Analysing competitor's prices in the retail life insurance business, assisting with TAL's repricing for retail insurance, remediation work, adviser-related insights.

New business pricing work, client servicing and internal process updates

I generate monthly and weekly updates on the claims results, and I am involved with a lot of BAU (business as usual) activities. During quieter periods, I work on process improvement and process documentation.

valuations, currently building harmonized IBNR spreadsheet between 3 portfolios TAL currently owns. Also help out with month end and other ad hoc tasks

I do statutory and regulatory reporting for the company, looking at the different financial statements of the company

Actuarial Graduate Help with Ad Hoc Tasks within the team. Mainly building on code and file improvements. Identifying relevant issues and moving them forward as needed.

There is a lot going on in Internal Communications so I am able to lead on certain projects and take ownership which is nice. It does get pretty busy at times, especially as I am helping out with other teams as well as part of my first rotation.

Project management (overseeing Project from team to team) - Scheduling meetings - Assisting in building propositions

General work within a technology focused team that puts business and partner-related changes into action on externally-facing websites. Some business analysis, development work, and test automation.

Marketing Data Analytics, Website Update

The work we do as a Graduate is extremely varied, and interesting. I have learnt so much since joining the program, not only technical skills but also soft skills that develop me as a future leader.

Day-to-day responsibilities are not too challenging and are meaningful.

My role is as a cyber graduate in the Cyber Threat Management team. My daily responsibilities include, threat hunting, incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management

analyze cloud systems and identify inconsistencies as well as non-compliance. Develop and contribute to new cloud solutions to existing issues.
